Total Super Pty Ltd trading as Tranzact Super is an independent self managed superannuation specialist firm. Tranzact Super is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tranzact Financial Services Limited, an ASX listed entity. Our head office is in Brisbane though our business is nationally based as an authorised representative of Tranzact Consulting Limited.

Tranzact Super were the first providers of web based 24/7 self managed superannuation services in Australia and remain the largest provider of this style of service. We provide education and technical assistance to intermediaries as well as a "white label" web reporting service for their clients. We also provide comprehensive deed, pension and instalment warrant services for our administration clients as well as for funds that are not under our administration. As a consequence of the acquisition by Tranzact we have access to substantial development capital and advanced investment portfolio and superannuation administration systems. These will be implemented over time to enhance our service offerring.

Tranzact Financial Services Limited was incorporated in 1999 under another name and established an administration business for superannuation master trusts and managed investment accounts. In July 2003 Grosvenor Financial Services Group, now the largest independent provider of adviser services in New Zealand, entered into a joint venture with, and took a 60% interest in, the company. This combined the superannuation expertise of Tranzact with the proven technology, research and administration platforms of Grosvenor. The managing director of Tranzact, Mr Allan Yeo, has been appointed similarly to Tranzact Super's board.

Tranzact Financial Services maintained a self managed superannuation business from their Sydney office under the management of Mrs Soha Tawil. This has now formed part of the Tranzact Super business and gives us an office presence in Sydney as well.

In recognition of Tranzact's ownership and control of Total Super and recognising the platform and operational synergies that Tranzact brings to the company the trading name of Total Super was changed to Tranzact Super in 2009.

Just prior to this, Tranzact acquired the business of Australian Superannuation Consultants Pty Ltd (ASC). ASC was formed in June 1998 by Ian Crilly and Mark Ellem to provide self managed super fund administration, compliance and advisory services to trustees, accountants and advisers. This operation was similar in focus to the former Total Super but with a particular focus on accountants. The addition of ASC provides a broader base of specialist expertise and places Tranzact Super in a strong position for future growth.
